March Profit Matters -
Implementing Strategic Focus

Tuesday, March 13th at 5:30 - Thrive BallPark, 1415 Park Ave., Denver, CO 80205

Please join us to discuss Emu System's mission to change the construction industry by implementing advanced science-based practices

Presenter - Mariana Pickering: Mariana has a BA in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters in Design Science from the University of Sydney, Australia. Her background is in sustainable design, and has worked in three continents and across many diverse building cultures. She has been dedicated to building the Emu brand, making strategic partnerships, and expanding Emu's international reputation as experts in their field. Company - Emu Systems: Emu Systems, are experts in virtual prototyping for the construction industry. We are on a mission to close the gap between mainstream construction practices and advanced, proven building science. Through builder training and simple, standard, passive systems, we are empowering the industry to build for the future and for resiliency. Emu has three main revenue streams - Training, Services, and Systems - the latter being the scalable subscription platform we've been working on for roll out this year. Recently, our Training revenue has increased at a faster pace than expected.

Business Challenge: As a result of the fantastic week of intense business development during the RVC HyperAccelerator, we've pushed back our timeline of funding goals and the roll out of our subscription platform, in exchange for a deeper dive into the potential revenue of our curriculum development.  We have many questions and are researching the possibilities with the curriculum licensing path first, the benefit being that the "MVP" is well defined, whereas we have more product development still has a few months to go. The advice I seek is a wider understanding of the possibilities we should be vetting to realistically scale our training program in the context of our other long term goals.
