Navigating Growth - Which Path Would You Choose?

Cool Woman, Karen Ellenberger of Agile Merchant helps mid-to-large-size Amazon merchants using Amazon’s fulfillment network, manage and reconcile their inventory. Agile Merchant focuses on providing a high-touch, policy compliant service with a more comprehensive analysis, as well as best practices that mitigate account risk, incurred by competitor services.

Karen's Challenge

After a successful launch, Karen is faced with the decision to broaden her service, or broaden her client base. With a solid foundation of larger clients, Agile Merchant can either make an automated, lower cost version of the existing service available to a broader range of smaller merchants or broaden the existing service offering and continue to focus on larger clients’ needs. The catch?  Focusing on automating the existing service will mean more competition, but requires minimal technology investment. Remaining focused on the needs of larger clients requires a significantly larger investment in technology, but will keep Agile Merchant in the “blue ocean” space of an uncontested market.

Our Rockstar Review Panel

Angela Tucci:  Cool woman, GM for CA's Agile Group (formerly Rally SW) and all-around awesome executive.  For some reason, the companies where Angela works keep getting acquired.  A coincidence? I think not!  Angela has extensive SaaS, channel, marketing and business strategy experience.

Liz Coker:  Ditto on the "cool" and "woman" part and co-founder and COO of 3PHealth.  She's a contextual data wonk, privacy freak and tech channel geek (she loves complex ecosystems).  Not so long ago you could find Liz building go-to-market business, channel, and product launch strategies for startups to to billion dollar babies.

Kim Carver:  Passionate Leader, engaged mentor, entrepreneur, intrepreneur and board executive.  Wow!  Now that's a mouthful.  Oh - and she is also the CEO and Founder of the Leading Network.  Kim's has a rich background in all things digital and media and understands how to go to market in interconnected digital ecosystems.
