An Evening of Wine and Chocolate

An invitation from the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame:

You are invited to the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame's Wine & Chocolate event happening on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.  This event is part education, part fundraising, and 100% opportunity to eat chocolate and drink wine!  Many of you have also been invited to the Facebook event page that contains the same information.

It is the first of a five event series designed to introduce/update our friends and colleagues to the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame.  Each event will kick off with a quick introduction about the Hall, including meeting one of the inductees and hearing about her story, and then our expert, The Chocolate Therapist will teach us about pairing wine and chocolate.  There will be five opportunities to attend throughout the year.  Each presentation will feature a different inductee, but the wine and chocolate pairing will be the same each time.  See flyer below.

The first one will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the same building that houses the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame office, 5340 S. Quebec Street, Suite 100-S, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.  The registration fee is $40.00 per attendee, of which $25.00 is tax deductible as it goes to support the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame.

If interested, register early as there are a limited number of spots for each pairing.  The majority of the audience will more than likely be women, but gentlemen, know you are welcome to partake as well.  Chocolate and wine for all!  Also, if you can't make it to this one, we will keep you updated on the next pairing.  At the same time, if this isn't your cup of tea, or glass of wine, let us know and we'll be happy to take you off the list.

Hope to see you there!

...The women of CWWK meet to provide networking, mentoring, promotion and support among women in tech careers.  They also seek to increase the number of women in the tech sector.  “I realized that so many of the women that I network with were technical people that had startups,” explains co-founder Wendy Hall Bohling, “these women were so successful, so terrific and just flat-out cool that I thought: let’s get all of these women together to provide feedback for one another as business women and entrepreneurs.”...

Cool Marketing Service for Startups to Mid-Size Business

Hi Ladies –

A friend of mine is packaging up her marketing and business consulting services in a unique way that I find particularly appealing as a small business owner.  Just thought I’d pass it along if anyone is interested.  She’s done considerable work in the telecom and high-tech spaces and is wicked smart.  Has the east-coast edge about her, but a great sense of humor.
